About the Organization:
“Children Need Us” is a registered charity organization in Afghanistan, officially recognized by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Public Health. Established in 2001 by Mr. Markus Dewender, the organization supports orphaned, underprivileged, and vulnerable children through programs in education, healthcare, and emergency relief.
Project Overview:
This educational initiative targeted children who were deprived of schooling due to economic, social, or geographic barriers. MP3 players preloaded with lessons in core school subjects, moral education, and children’s stories were distributed, providing access to continuous learning even for children unable to attend school regularly.

The project was implemented by “Children Need Us” in collaboration with the organization Education without Book, led by Ms. Sadaf Zahedi.
